Purpose of the processing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data provided is processed for the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Respond to enquiries, requests for meetings or market analysis submitted by the user<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide the contracted consultancy and advisory services in international trade<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To manage the commercial relationship and send communications relating to the requested service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To comply with the legal obligations applicable to Gea3 Consulting\u2019s activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.4. Legal basis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal basis for the processing of data is the <strong>consent<\/strong> provided by the user when completing and submitting the forms on the website, as well as, where applicable, the <strong>performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures<\/strong> requested by the data subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.5. International data transfers \u2014 the Chinese market<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given the nature of Gea3 Consulting\u2019s business, which is aimed at facilitating trade between Spanish and Chinese companies, we hereby expressly state the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certain personal data provided by the user <strong>may be disclosed to companies, distributors, buyers or business partners based in the People\u2019s Republic of China<\/strong>, to the extent necessary for the provision of the business matchmaking and networking service requested by the client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">China does not have an Adequacy Decision from the European Commission, meaning that such international data transfers take place outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, Gea3 Consulting obtains the <strong>explicit consent<\/strong> of the data subject prior to the transfer and, where applicable, implements the additional safeguards provided for in the regulations (such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission), whilst informing the user of the potential risks arising from such a transfer before it takes place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.6. Using WeChat as a communication channel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This website offers the option to contact Gea3 Consulting via <strong>WeChat<\/strong>, a messaging platform owned by a third party (Tencent Holdings Limited), with servers and data processing subject to the laws of the People\u2019s Republic of China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gea3 Consulting has no control over, nor is it responsible for, the privacy policies or data processing carried out by WeChat as an independent platform. We recommend that users consult WeChat\u2019s own privacy policy before using this contact channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.7. Retention period<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data will be retained for as long as is necessary to deal with the enquiry or provide the requested service, and thereafter, where applicable, for the duration of any applicable statutory limitation periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.8.
